As a neighbor, you eventually will recive green energy, such as power and district heating from the biogas plant.

In addition, the biogas plant will produce a high quality liquid fertilizer for the faroese agriculture which will replace a large amount of the manure that currently is imported. The biogas plant also contributes to a greener community by producing renewable energy that will replace parts of the fossil energy and thereby reduce CO2 emissions.

The high quality of the liquid fertilizer will also increase farmers production and reduce enviromental impact on imported goods and can therefore be said to be beneficial for all the faroese population.
